Boozy Pineapple Lemonade

Life has handed me a LOT of lemons lately. Literally, we got a whole box of lemons from church, where we occasionally get leftover produce from Blue Apron. I’ve been using the lemons any way I can imagine – making lemon chicken, fish and lemon, lemonade, raspberry lemonade, and half and half. So when Alizé sent me their newest flavor, Alizé Apple, I got the idea to make an adult-friendly boozy lemonade, and since pineapples are trending this summer, I added those too!

Fresh squeezed lemon juice
Chopped pineapple
Lemon flavored seltzer water
Alizé Apple
Sugar (optional)

How to Make Boozy Pineapple Lemonade

To make this drink, start by juicing approximately 3 lemons to get a half cup of lemon juice. You can use your hands or a citrus press, but I decided to bring out my KitchenAid Citrus Juicer Attachment since I was going to juice lemons for this as well as regular lemonade.

Blend 1/2 cup lemons with 1 cup chopped pineapple and 3 ounces Alizé Apple. A shot class is 1.5 oz, so just add two shots! I mixed this drink with the smoothie cup of my Ninja blender but you can use any blender.

Pour your green lemonade drink into a champagne or cocktail glass. Top off with a splash of seltzer for some fizz, and garnish with a pineapple! This drink is on the tart side, so if you have a sweet tooth like me, consider dipping the rim of your glass in sugar to cut the tang. You can also stir the sugar in, but keep in mind that it won’t fully dissolve unless you heat it.

If you want to make this a frozen lemonade, simply freeze Alizé Apple in an ice cube tray, and blend Alizé cubes with the pineapples and lemon juice until you get a smooth, slushie consistency. This version would be great in a moscow mule mug!

Other drinks with Alizé Apple

As soon as the air becomes brisk, I plan on using Alizé Apple to make a red and green apple sangria. If you prefer simpler drinks, you can also try an apple fizz, apple-cran splash, or just enjoy Alizé Apple by itself slightly chilled or on the rocks. It’s a succulent infusion of ripe, delicious apples delicately blended with premium French Vodka, so it’s yummy on its own! Find out where to pick up Alizé Apple here.

  1. What a simple refreshing drink to make, I like lemonade. I like lemons especially in my teas. I may try to this without the Alize’ apple. I have some others beverage to add.
