Current Obsession: Strappy Shoes

Today’s current obsession is in the shoe department! Now that the weather is nice and I’m out of hibernation, I actually have events to go to, and thus, shoes that must be worn! I just bought a ridiculous number of shoes from DSW a few months ago – after being on a shoe shopping freeze/dare/challenge for all of 2013 – so I can realistically only look but not touch. I’m currently feeling shoes with a lot of straps, and included for you some that I have, and some that I would not turn down if you shipped them to me really love to own.

Current Obsessions: Strappy Shoes

My favorite shoe of the ones I have right now are the Ivanka Trump Brynna because you can interchange the straps however you want! They were the real inspiration behind this post, and I’ve worn the straps all straight across, as well as criss-crossed as in the photo. You’ve already seen my teal Heart Soul pumps because I wore them at A Summer Protective Styling Brunch. The Vince Camuto wedges I have are a few years old, but I wear them over and over again when I want to pretend like I’m wearing a dope shoe but I’m really not. Having a similar wedge in a gold metallic would be everything, so I’m about to keep my eyes out for that price to drop. My current ankle strap flats are only exciting because of the metallic color block, but I’d love to get some super strappy/woven flats that technically count as closed-toed shoes for work, but give my feet air to breathe! I have nothing to say about these Jimmy Choos, they pretty much speak for themselves!

You’re probably surprised that the tall gladiator sandal or heel trend isn’t on this list, but I really don’t like them. Strappy sandals are bound to give you a serious tan line already if yore wearing them to a beach or barbecue, but lines all up your legs? No thanks. These low gladiators from Express are about as much of the trend as I can take.

Are you feeling strappy shoes right now? What about the gladiator trend? Do you like my little Polyvore collage? Would you like to see more fashion posts?
