The clear trend has been around for a few seasons, but I have too messy of a bag to carry a see through one. I don’t need the world to see my gum wrappers and receipts. Enter clear shoes – an easy way to rock the trend that also matches every single thing in your closet. Without realizing it, clear shoes has become my latest style obsession and I’ve accumulated a few pairs over the past two months. Here are three clear shoe styles to try and tons of options at a variety of price points!
Cotton On Denim Jacket // Zara Bodysuit // And Other Stories Jeans // Zara Shoes // Gucci Bag
Since I can’t afford (or rather don’t want to spend money on) Chanel’s iconic slingbacks, I’ve had my eye on a pair that would satisfy my slingback itch without compromising my wallet. As fate would have it, the day before my birthday meet & greet, I started having a random pain in my foot and realized I wouldn’t be able to wear heels as planned. Cue a mad dash to the mall, and I stumbled upon these clear & black slingbacks at Zara. I’ve already worn them 7 times (in three weeks haha), so I already feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth, but trust and believe they’ll be on repeat until it starts to snow.
Clear Strappy Pumps
Equipment Leopard Shirt // Amanda Uprichard Jumpsuit // Schutz Shoes // Sensi Studio Bag
I always feel like I buy heels in all sorts of colors and then never have a shoe that matches my outfits, so when I saw these Schutz clear strappy heels, I immediately hit add to cart. Luckily I had a bit of store credit which brought the price down, but again, these have already gotten so much wear because they go with everything! They’re also relatively comfortable for a heel, once you get used to kind of walking flat footed so they don’t fly off. I also tried the much more affordable Who What Wear pair, but found it slightly too narrow for my feet.
I don’t have a pair of these (yet), but I really like the idea of clear booties. On warmer days, you can wear them barefoot, but once it gets colder, you can play around with cute and warm socks to switch up the look. For folks who aren’t sold on the white bootie trend yet, a white & clear pair may help soften the transition.
