I thought I would never wear floral print. It’s too romantic, bohemian, and feminine for my more minimal style. However, the juxtaposition of the cheery floral print with a dark and moody color scheme combined with a rockstar leather jacket just screams I can do bad all by myself. This fall floral midi dress with a trumpet hem from my Rent the Runway Unlimited selections is the perfect transitional piece because its lightweight and figure flattering, hugging my curves without being tight or uncomfortable. I wore it a few times with three different kinds of black shoes: studded heels, caged sandals, and ankle booties. The dress has so many colors your shoe options are endless.
In other news, I feel like it’s been AGES since I’ve blogged (it’s been a week!). Before my oral exam, I planned out all my blog and social media content for two weeks, but a few posts that were ready to go up got held up in brand edits, and I was too pooped post exam to create new content. Good news is I’m feeling completely and utterly refreshed, and ready to tackle this month like none other. I have so much to talk about, from my new hair color, to wedding progress, a few easy apartment DIYs, and some unexpected outfits. In the meantime, I’m sending out a grossly overdue update letter to the mailing list later today, so if you’re not on it, hop to it!

How do you feel about fall florals?
SHOES with the come-thru!! So, yes, the dress is adorable… love it with the moto-type leather. Naughty meets nice, maybe? *shrug* Whatever you wanna call it, it works.
Ayeee naughty and nice 😉
Stunning the dress is gorgeous knock out. It’s gorgeous and hugging all the right places. I can rock something like that especially I love dresses with floral prints. I just know this gown is going to be something spectacular.
