It’s been a whole week since we came back from our honeymoon in Jamaica, and I’ve been going through some serious withdrawal from our luxurious stay at Zoëtry Wellness and Spa Resort in Montego Bay. One of the best things about the Caribbean is the sand and sun, so I prepared myself accordingly with FOUR honeymoon swimsuits. Since I knew I’d be indulging in a lot of food and beverage during our trip, I packed only one pieces and high waisted two pieces (like most of my other swimsuits) and leaned towards a white color scheme.
Here’s a rundown of all my looks:
Strappy African Print
Though I was in the Caribbean, I still had to rep my African roots. This was the slinkiest, most booty baring swimsuit I’ve ever worn, and the side ties allow you to adjust for even more cheekiness. Only con is that you can’t tan in the suit, lest you end up with stripes. Worn frequently with these pants.
Kingdom and State Cut Out Top & Bombshell Bottom – Palm Print
Modest Palm Print
Palm prints are everywhere this season, and perfect for balmy vacations! This Kingdom and State set is very modest and has full coverage on the bottom. I liked wearing the top with denim shorts too – the cutout shows just enough skin to make it interesting.
Tanning Two Piece
Last but not least, I brought along this two piece set from a very surprising place – Adore Me! You probably know Adore Me as a lingerie brand but they also carry swimsuits. This slightly padded triangle top was perfect for tanning and the bottoms had a clever zip that I could let down to roll the high waist down to make sure my stomach got some sun.
I wore this hat almost every day, because I really did not want to be bothered. For coverups, I either threw on this ethereal white robe that made me want to twirl in the wind, or this cool cotton dress that was easy to slip over my head.
