You’ve probably seen some version of this shirt – Forever21 has one, Zara has a few, it’s even at department stores. The menswear inspired striped wrap top seems to be everywhere this spring, and for a good reason. It’s a fun and elevated take on the usual button-down, adding the wrap silhouette to accentuate the bust and waistline, and details like exaggerated sleeves and bows to make it feminine. If you already own a top like this or are thinking about adding one to your closet, here are a few ways to rock the top with what you already have in your wardrobe!
The top I’m wearing has reddish pink stripes, so I paired it with salmon pink pants that you saw in this previous outfit. I like how the colors play together without feeling like I’m wearing pink from head to toe! If you have a blue striped wrap top, try pairing it with navy chinos or wear an olive top with green cargo pants.
Since many of these tops feature white as the background color, it’s easy to pair with white bottoms, like your favorite white shorts. I haven’t yet found the perfect pair for my thighs, but these are a few I’m considering.
Jersey Pencil Skirt
For a more casual and comfortable look, I paired my striped wrap top with a very old jersey pencil skirt that hugs me in all the right places! It’s super easy to wear this look with a pair of slides, or streamlined white sneakers.
The topic was misleading menswear but after open it up the review I love it. The top is cute seemly that it can be paired with different attire to yield some many looks. I truly like the top. It definitely could be a wardrobe addition.
