I try to be a Godly woman, but there are three ways the Devil really tries to get to me: making me inclined to really enjoy tea (as in gossip, not Lipton), causing my heart to flutter for people like Idris Elba and Lance Gross when I already have my own chocalately man, and making ash appear on my body. Yes, ashiness is from the Devil and I’ve got the remedy to rebuke it for you.
Particularly as the seasons change, it can be tough to keep our skin hydrated. We can’t exactly bathe in shea butter like we did all winter long (oh wait, was that just me?) because it will leave us dripping in sweat, but we also can’t just skip out on lotion because cracked skin in the springtime isn’t excusable like it is during the winter. Luckily, I’ve partnered with Dove to tell you all about how their New Dove Dry Oil Collection – featuring their Dove Dry Oil Beauty Bar and Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash – helps me fight ashiness for smooth and super soft skin.
Did you know that 9 in 10 women are concerned about having dry skin? Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash goes beyond basic moisturizing to help women nourish and protect their dry skin. Dry skin can be a combination of lack of hydration and dead skin, so I love pairing the body wash with some exfoliating gloves to get my legs looking like honey caramelized chocolate goodness and keep ingrown stubble at bay. *runs to find shorts in the back of my closet*
Most naturals know that oils are necessary to lock in moisture in our thirsty strands, right? Well the Dove Dry Oil Collection is infused with Moroccan Argan oil beads to gently cleanse while helping to replenish nutrients to the skin. Although I prefer to use the wash because I love a good lather, the beauty bar contains 1/4 moisturizing cream and argan oil that won’t leave you dry like other bar soaps. That’s the liquid and the oil that helps lock in moisture in your skin, just like you would do for your hair!
For me, the key to being my radiant, ash-free self is the new Dove Dry Oil collection! Combined with exfoliating regularly, shaving with a moisturizing razor, and sealing in all that moisture with a natural butter or oil, I can achieve smooth and soft skin that has my legs ready for shorts season! Oh, the wine doesn’t hurt either ?
I’ve been enjoying move Dove dry oil collection, but way minute…I need that shower curtain in my life!
I will go to my bathroom for no reason other than to look at my shower curtain!

I love dove products but I also use Vit E oil as soon as I get out of the shower.
I’ve heard people using vitamin e oil on their face, but I didn’t think to use it on my skin. Thanks for the tip!
I love most Dove products but I haven’t tried this one yet. I feel you on ash being the Devil, lol, so I most definitely will try it! Thanks! #BLMgirl
